[FIXED] Sims won't use dishwasher that's in the room if sink is closer

When Sims are finished eating and they're about to clean the dishes, they won't use the dishwasher despite being in the same room as the Sim. This happens if you have both a sink and a dishwasher. ...

In my game, I can't use the dishwasher. When i click on the dishwasher and choose "load dishwasher", my sim goes for the sink to wash all her dishes! Is this a glitch?

    I'm having the same problem, but I think I may have found out what's going on:

    If there is only one dish to wash, the Sim goes for the sink. If the Sim is cleaning up a lot of dishes at once, then they usually head for the dishwasher.

    Can someone else confirm this?
