Product: The Sims 4 Platform: PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? 100% of the 4 saves I've used. What is your current game version number? 1.96.365.1030 What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Age a toddler up with maxed skills (mine had top notch infant, but as far as my understanding is the two traits do different things) What happens when the bug occurs? Toddler does not receive Top Notch Toddler What do you expect to see? Top Notch Toddler reward trait. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now, I removed them before I started the save. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Unsure, just noticed it after the baby update but I don't normally play with babies/toddlers/children.
As far as I know, the top notch infant trait has to do with confidence, and the top-notch toddler trait helps gain skills faster. So one shouldn't be replacing the other, but maybe I'm wrong?
I'm also having this issue. Not sure if a new thread should be created or not. Can't seem to find anything indicating if someone has the top notch infant trait that you also can't get top notch toddler? The only mod I have installed is one that fixes the order in which toddlers learn shapes, letters and numbers since the game has them out of order.
My toddler had all skills at max level. He is from a wizard bloodline, but otherwise had no other traits. I have never had this problem before.
I observed that sometimes the level-up notification doesn't appear at all, so if it happens from level 3 to 4, then the level-up notification won't appear when the toddler get the level 5. I wonder that you actually have and see a full level 5 toddler, but sims 4 does not consider him at all like that, so it does not give him the reward trait.
