I have nearly all the sims packs (except a few kits), once had mods/cc but have since removed them from the mods folder and disabled them in game.
Beginning about a week ago, my game has become unplayable. I have checked in every day to see if it resolved itself and it hasn't yet. In short, my sims won't complete tasks. I have a sim painting on the easel and the progress bar will get stuck several times. It took my sims from 7am to 10pm to paint a medium sized painting as a level 4 painter. Cued tasks are having a similar issue, where my sim stands there and doesn't begin the task/interaction. Additionally, moodlets will almost indefinitely flicker once they get to 0minutes instead of disappearing.
Today I uninstalled the sims 4 and then uninstalled the EA Play app (because I was constantly running into issues where it would get stuck in "Preparing Game" or it wouldn't start up, or when it did start up, the screen would be blank). I reinstalled everything and ran into the same issue.
So I tried a different save file and so far I haven't run into any issues after 10 minutes of gameplay. The difference between the two save files is that the broken one is on a rental lot, a level 4 painter, and downloaded from the gallery (no cc). The one that works is a level 8 painter, a regular lot, and also downloaded from the gallery (no cc).
