This has been happening across multiple save files and for at least a few weeks. I have officially gotten frustrated enough to post it here.
This keeps happening with the houses where I have a barn or shed or some kind. In this situation, it always defaults to the barn/shed door as the front door, so I have to select 'Set as Front Door' to fix this. The problem is that if I leave the lot and return or when I first start the game, the front door has switched back to the barn/shed door. This is especially annoying if I don't notice or forget to check, and then neighbors are knocking on the wrong door.
The final straw that made me post this was just now, the barn was set as the front door, and when I went to the actual front door, I didn't even have the 'Set as Front Door' option coming up.
Hey, Sims, can we please fix this glitch? I know it's small, but it drives me nuts.
Anyone else have this problem lately? I think it started one or two updates ago.
Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
I am also having issues with 'set as front door' on console and without a barn placed. Game keeps changing which door is my front door when I reload the lot
