@richvh are you trying to get the goal to count for the event or for the aspiration? If you're trying to do it for the aspiration, the fan needs to instigate the request, not your sim. I work on this aspiration quite frequently and I find that to be the hardest part to get done since only requests for selfies work (understandable given the goal), and my sims rarely get those requests, and instead get requests from fans for autographs and hugs.

@MapleSimmerFor the event. I haven't gotten to the point of needing it for the aspiration yet. If it needs to be fan initiated for the event as well, there's nothing in the event goal description or tool tip saying so. My sim is a 3 star celebrity, are you more likely to get fans to ask for selfish as a 4 or 5 star?
