[GTW] Using Chemical Analyzer Freezes game

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.81.72.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, all game packs excepting Vampires. Only a few stuff packs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Analyze a patient sample using Chemical Analyzer.
What happens when the bug occurs? Once the analysis is complete, game clock stops, unable to interact with any object. Occasionally it will unfreeze, however selecting objects or people will have massive lag in accessing interactions menu. At other times, the game crashes.
What do you expect to see? The ability to continue actions and finish workday.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Started after most recent update.
I noticed this issue beginning with another sim in the same household who was in the Scientist career. Task involves using the Chemical Analyzer, however analysis will complete and that task will leave the checklist, but then the game clock stops and sim is unable to interact with any other sims or objects. Sometimes it "unsticks," but with very delayed interactions, and other times the game will crash.
It is important to note that if I perform any other actions in either the Science or Medical career there are no issues, this only occurs after using the Chemical Analyzer. Nor do I experience any other game freezing, lags, or crashes during any other game play.
Have tried cleaning out cache files, running Repair through Origin, has not helped the situation.
