Since the wording for hydration didn´t get back to normal, I made a test: I made her a temporary ghost again, this time by bathing in that special "lake", I hoped after turning back to normal also the wording would turn back to normal. But it happened exactly as before: Everything went back to normal, but not the wording for hydration.
If you have Paranormal SP, can you test your mermaid/triton with the seance table?
Because for me, when my mermaid sim became a temporary ghost through the seance table, when he returned human he maintained all the ghostly words in the UI except for one (the 🚽).
Hey there! So I did what you asked and used the seance table to turn a mermaid into a ghost. I did this on a completely fresh, mod-free save with a new sim just to make sure nothing else would affect and it was the same thing as last time. Only the hydration need didn't change back to its non-ghost wording, but everything else was fine. I do have a picture, but it's not much different from my last picture. Just a non-ghost sim merperson with their hydration need stuck with the ghost wording. Maybe there was something more specific you did for the UI to break further? Just a suggestion
