My sim has the Laid-Back trait, which does exactly the same thing as Carefree. I prefer Laid-Back because it means earning points rather than spending them, and Sulani is gorgeous. (Only my aliens get Carefree as they can't complete the suntanning requirement for Laid-Back.)
I never got the tense 6/7 dates moodlet, and removing Laid-Back has not caused it to appear.
Same thing here my sim has Laid Back trait and there was no moodlet for the 6 of 7 Wild Dates, I completed a seventh date just in case but nothing happened. I didn't even get the pop up to say I failed or passed it was like it never happened.
