My Game freeze completly during the CAS mode (create sims mode)

For the past few days every single time I try making a new sim on a new save and I go on the traits, the game just freezes. It's impossible for me to make new sims without the game freezing every time I go on traits. I play on ps4 but I noticed that when my sister played the game with a sim household that was previously made it worked fine for her. The game also takes insanely long time to apply things on sims (for example, makeup or hair). I've had the CD ever since December 2017 and I'm wondering if the game is freezing because the CD is getting old.

(Note: Every time it freezes on CAS the music is still playing but I can't do a single thing.)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Using CAS on PS4 console?
What happens when the bug occurs? After the last update (1.42), every time when I use CAS at some point the game freezes. I can't click anything or save my new Sim.
What do you expect to see? I expect CAS will working again without the issue
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
