Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Version 1.70.84.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover university, get famous, seasons, city living, get to work, parenthood, dine out, spa day, laundry day, toddler, kids room, spooky, cool kitchen, holiday celebration pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sims go to workout on treadmill and won’t stop unless I cancel it. Then, there is no workout moodlet.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sims keep running, do not get tired, there’s no green circle around the action that serves as a timer, and the sims don’t stop unless I cancel the action. When I cancel the action, there’s no workout moodlet
What do you expect to see? While sims are working out, thee is a green circle serving as the timer so that the sims stop on their own, and when they’re done, they have a workout moodlet.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The game automatically updated 2/2/2021 when I launched the game
this is a brand new save game I created 2/2/2021 after my game automatically updated. I have downloaded anything from the gallery in this game. I’ve also never dealt with this issue. I tried repair game and making a new sims 4 folder, no changes. If I tell the sim to workout, they will workout continuously for hours without getting fatigued or getting some other workout moodlet.
Are you staying on the lot and not switch to build mode the whole time ? There's this older bug report: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-INPUT-A-Endless-Workout-Session-If-Build-Mode-Is-Entered/td-p/7481337/ .. don't know if that's still an issue.

It could be a build mode bug; I went into build mode immediately after the starting the game. I can start a new game and see.
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@minibrownsuga It should work if you just try the current game and not switch lot or do anything while they're working out.
I'll merge this thread if it works if you don't do anything (I don't have a timer either but they stop after a while) - crinrict5 years agoHero+@minibrownsuga Did you get a chance to check if it's related to switching to build mode ?
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@minibrownsuga Going to merge your thread.
Let me know if you have the issue without going to build mode.
