I tried again and the slider is now there it wasn’t before which is odd. It works better now but I’m still having the problem with the cursor duplicating when clicking on the screen which makes taking photos difficult
I've tested this on my Mac and am not experiencing the double cursor and can happily use the slider. Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612396/highlight/true#M162
Could you also please provide a screenshot of your in-game graphics options? Maybe lag is causing the double cursor and your settings are too high for your Mac capabilities.
If you move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop and lacuna a completely new clean game with none of your saves/Mods/Tray etc files and folders does it still happen? You will need to create a new household to test cleanly.

Sure,
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
2GHz intel core I7
memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
graphics: NVIDIA geForce GT 650M 1GB intel HD Graphics 4000 1536MB
I have attached the screen shot of the in-game graphics.
And I didn't have the problem when I moved the sims 4 folder to the desktop. Do you know what could be causing it?
Originally I removed the Mods and CC and the problem persists...
