Huh... I've had this problem too, though on even my human sims, and it's not just teens aging up... It's young adults becoming adults too. The first couple times I noticed it I wondered if maybe it was a mod messing with my sims' metabolism (albeit illogical bc one sim stayed became very skinny when looked at from the front but from the side appeared pregnant despite not being pregnant), but then I had my most absurd body type change yet with a teen sim. I'm still trying to figure out why this happened. I had to fix her in CAS, but honestly a change like this is ridiculous.
