Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1020 What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? ALL Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have Sim apply for scholarships. Wait for delivery. Get mail. What happens when the bug occurs? The scholarship letters are located in household inventory. When manually removed and placed on a surface, the only options are Place in Inventory or Place in World. No option to put in Sim's inventory. With MCCC installed, this action returns an exception error. Without MCCC, bug remains. What do you expect to see? Scholarship letters placed in Sim's inventory and being able to be read. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? @Wndblwz If you remove MCCC, do you get a lastexception file in documents as well ? You might need to delete the ones you have, trigger the bug and check if there's a file
EA will need the vanilla game LE not the MCCC one.
No mods installed. Lastexception file and screenshots attached. In the screenshots, scholarship letters have been removed from household inventory and placed on counters. Only options for interaction are "Add to Favorites" and "Place in World". (I attempted to grab them and move to Sim's personal inventory, but that failed.) Selecting "Place in World" resulted in the scholarship letters floating in mid-air.

@crinrictNo effect on scholarship working properly. He's at uni with scholarships appropriately applied. Side note: I tried selling/deleting the letters from his personal inventory (which is where they are now stuck. The letters were automatically in his personal inventory when I entered the game.) They are now not selectable. For a while the corruption also affected my ability to delete his high school homework. (Somehow the homework deletion got resolved when I exited the lot.) He received two additional scholarship letters and there were no issues with opening and deleting them. Don't know if it matters but the corrupted letters are acceptance letters and the working ones are denials.
I'm having something similiar too. My sim had two Scholarship letters in her inventory but suddenly they were floating in the room. When I click on them I still have options as if they're in the inventory: "Place in world" and "add/remove to favorites". I cannot delete them in build/buy mod nor sell them, only move them around.
