[FR] Fixing shower doesn't resolve water leak

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? For Rent + many others
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? create rental lot with one unit used by household
What happens when the bug occurs? Shower is unusable with water leak message
What do you expect to see? Should be able to resolve the water leak. Should show puddles or broken toilets ect
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

Cannot use shower. Its been like an in game week and it hasn't resolved. I get the message about not being able to use it because of a water leak. I can't call the landlord because my sim is the landlord. Theres no puddles or broken items. I did fix the shower which was broken but I might have deleted a shared room that had some puddles.

Hoping that switching the lot type back to residential will fix the problem but will have to evict everyone. Or failing that move to a different lot. But its getting in the way of what I was planning to do

    Switching the lot type to residential doesn't work but moving away and moving back does

    @BlueRabbit477 Did you try selling the shower and buying a new one ? Do you have any event going on or just the message on the shower ?

    Which language are you playing the game in? English
    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    What is your current game version number? SDX 22.0
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a rental tenant until the “Sewage Leak” opportunity spawns. I opted to fix the issue myself versus call the property owner. The sim had a high handiness skill and he was focused. He cleaned up all of the water prior to fixing the issue.
    What happens when the bug occurs? When clicking on the broken toilet, there was no options outside of what we get from a normal broken toilet. There was not a “Flush it out” option. The sim I am playing repaired the toilet. The need to fulfill the “Repair or Replace the Toilet.” It still shows as “0/1” completed.
    What do you expect to see? Once the sim repaired it, the line of this event for “Repair or Replace the Toilet” should fulfill and show as “0/1”.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    @MzMelonz I merged your thread with another report on this.

    I do think they are the same. Don't know the exact wording of the name but from what you both describe, it sounds the same.

    @crinrict For me, I believe I had a holiday going on at the same time. Also, I let the time run out before deciding to try to sell and purchase a new one. I will update when it happens again to confirm if these things helped.
