[NEEDS SAVES] [GTW] [CD] [DO] Business get lost on moving

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.60.54.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs except Island Living and Uni and every game pack except StrangerVille.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a household with a Retail Store / Restaurant / Vet Clinic. Then move with this household.
What happens when the bug occurs? The restaurant / vet clinic / retail store is not owned by the household anymore. The household did not receive any money from a selling or anything, all perk points are gone, all employees are gone and I have to re-acquire the perk points and hire new staff. So, moving with a restaurant / vet clinic / retail store owned by the household moving is not possible.
What do you expect to see? The retail store / vet clinic / restaurant should not get lost on moving.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Moving with a restaurant / vet clinic / retail store owned by the household moving is not possible.

The respective facility is not longer in possession of the household.

You need to re-acquire all perk points / new staff, you need to train them again from the scratch and it is just annoying because

I am now bound to one certain home lot with my household, otherwise I would lose money, have wasted time to train my staff and have to re-acquire all perk points.

  • @Zack4358 That is how it is supposed to work because Get To Work Retail Restursant and Vet clinic are tied to the lot and household of the person that bought the land, If you separate that you loose the connection.
  • @Zack4358 For me they kept their business fine if I moved the entire family.

Could you give some more info ?
  • Maybe it is an old bug, because when I moved my entire household once, the household lost the vet clinic.

But if you don't have any problems with this anymore, it has been fixed already.

@Zack4358 When was that ? Might be best to re-test if you still have it cause for me it never happened.

Always test stuff on the current patch level before reporting.

    Hello,

@LeoniEatsChips and @rachelwolfe, we see you have recently hit me too on this bug report and would need help in reproducing this bug on our end.

Would also like you to know, A business is always tied to a household. Moving a Sim from a household with a business to a household that doesn't have one, the business will be lost.

If any of you are still encountering when moving entire households with Business or when moving Sims from the household without Business to the household with Business, on the latest game version (without mods), would you be willing to share your save file(s)?

If so, please send me a private message with a link to the file.

Instructions for sharing files with us are here: http://x.ea.com/74420

    Thanks!

I am still experiencing this bug while moving a whole household with an owned business, yes. Or, more accurately to my situation, evicting a household with an owned business and then moving them back onto the same lot after replacing the house. But my save file is modded. Do you still want it?
