@crinrict I have tried fridges and sinks that are not supposed to work off the grid but they still work. Phone interactions that require internet such as browsing social networks are available aswell, and normal lamps that require electricity work too.
I tried to create an off the grid lot in Willow Creek and on this lot the lamps or the phone didnt work, as they should, but kitchen appliances still did. I also re-applied the trait to my henford home but no difference.
@nightyexe Gave my save a try and that's all working as intended.
Can you test a new save game to see if it happens there as well ?

@crinrict i tried with a new save and it seems my usual save is just corrupted, rip my generations hahah
EDIT: i actually moved my sim to another lot which worked perfectly? I suspect there might be a clash between ''off the grid'' and ''simple living'' trait. I'm having problems with cordelias house mainly, where i have both of these traits applied, but on other houses with only the off the grid trait it works.
EDIT 2: there is no clash between lot traits, off grid simply does not work in the cordelia house specifically.
