[OPEN] Cannot talk to plants

What happens when the bug occurs? "Talk to Plant" does not show up as an option, greyed out or otherwise
What do you expect to see? "Talk to Plant" available as an interaction
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No custom content or mods
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? N/A
My sims cannot talk to plants no matter how high their skill, nor how low their social need, it never gives them the option to talk to plants. This is incredibly frustrating because its my only remaining task for the reapers rewards this week. They have done it autonomously once, but I still need them to do it twice more.
