I’ve had the same issue yesterday with my sims and I only have mcc command center and the woohoo wellness mod installed but i don’t think either of those affect cooking. The only lot trait i have on is simple living. I had my sim do a second grocery order and he got some other fish which he was then able to use for other meals but he wasn’t able to cook the salmon despite having enough herbs in the fridge.
same with me, i took my mods out as well, even repaired my game. still cant grill salmon. hope they fix it because simple living is a fun lot trait to play for sure. just take the fun out of playing this game anymore when things dont work and paying for it
