[OPEN] Discovery Quests won't go away/Constant Messages popping up

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Whatever the current one is
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All packs besides Star Wars and a couple of kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Finish the current Reaper Rewards goals.
What happens when the bug occurs? The "Lifelong Goals" discovery quest pops up multiple times. If I try to click it away, it comes back. If I let it remain, I keep getting the notification multiple times in a single minute. Turning off discovery quests has no effect, it keeps popping up. It ONLY happens in the save file I've been completing the Reaper Rewards event in, all other save files (which I keep in a separate folder on my computer) seem to be safe from it, at least so far.
What do you expect to see? The discovery quest to not pop up at all. Or pop up once, get clicked away, and not come back.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    I've disabled Discovery Questions in my game settings, but they continue to spam my Sims' phones constantly, which is making the game unplayable. I've tried repairing my game, reloading my saves multiple times, checking and unchecking the discovery quest option, but nothing seems to be working.

    @Madi317 The settings are currently by save game (bug), so you need to redo them for every save. Judging by your report you did do that though.

    Did you set the option globally or while in a save game ?

    Are these the only settings you have issues with ?

    I'm having this problem too, in an older save. All the newer ones let me disable the discovery quests while in live mode. I did the same in this one, double-checked that the checkmark was removed, and the quests still keep popping up. I did hit Apply Changes .

    @buildnshare So it's just one save where it doesn't work ? Do you have any mods/cc ?

    This should actually be a global setting but it seems it's per save for some odd reason.

    Yes, it was popping up each time I clicked on the phone. But saving and restarting seems to have resolved it. 😕heepish:

    I've disabled the entire Tips and Tutorial section but I keep getting popups in game. I took out all script mods, I repaired my game, I tried reverting changes and then turning them off, I've cleared my caches, but I don't know what could be causing this.
