[OPEN] Effect from Scare Seeker lot challenge doesn't go away after removing it

@Backstabbath88 With the Sims that are getting bored, are you:

- Doing the same interactions and conversation repeatedly

- Doing anything else that would make the Sim feel bored, (such as having a Sim with level 4 cooking read a bunch of level 1 cooking books)?

Furthermore:

- Does the Sim have any other trait that might cause them to be bored?

- Were they getting bored before the lot trait was added, or was it only noticable afterwards?

- Do they have any other moodlets or is the boredom moodlet the only one applying?

With these questions, I hope to narrow down what might be causing the Sims to still feel bored.

I have the same issue!

Mac, No mods, All expansions (except castle kit and all clothes kit), updated with last patch.

If you don’t mind, I’ll reply to your questions too:

- Doing the same interactions and conversation repeatedly? No. It just appears randomly.

- Doing anything else that would make the Sim feel bored, (such as having a Sim with level 4 cooking read a bunch of level 1 cooking books)? No.

- Does the Sim have any other trait that might cause them to be bored? No.

- Were they getting bored before the lot trait was added, or was it only noticable afterwards? No, only after adding the lot trait.

- Do they have any other moodlets or is the boredom moodlet the only one applying? More moodlets. The boredom moodlet was the first and overpowered the other positive moodlets he had. The only boredom moodlet he had was related with the lot trait.


Do you know what this trait is meant to do?

My sim only got bored and I randomly received books from people with the message “Thank you for the scare”. My sims didn't interact with them.

    @teihcaa From what I understand, your Sims are meant to scare other Sims on the lot and that:

    - If your Sim(s) aren't scaring another Sim, they get bored.

    - If a visiting Sim doesn't get scared by another Sim, they get bored.

    From what I know, this should only be the case on lots with the Scare Challenge trait active, (as that makes the most sense).

    I'll do some testing with my own save to see if my Sims would behave the same way.

    I'm wondering if its caused by Sims not doing the challenge and it left the game in a state where the Sims are expecting a scare.
