I had this issue occur yesterday playing on PC unmodded. It was in a household of two - I was on a community lot with one Sim whilst the other was at home. I clicked on the house icon on the out Sim's picture to go home and they left me behind on the lot. Clicking on their greyed out portrait did nothing, so I ended up saving the game, backing out to the main menu, and reloading the save to join them on their home lot.
@crinrictI don't, no. My home lot is 11C Sungai Point in Tomarang, and I haven't changed it from the default traits.
@crinrictThe issue hasn't happened since I worked around it by exiting and re-entering the game. It's been a one-off so far, after I travelled to the bar in Tomarang with a non-household Sim accompanying my Sim. It hasn't occurred any other time I've returned from a community lot to my home lot, but those were always solo outings without a non-household Sim involved. I don't know if it's anything to do with the non-household Sim in my group leaving the community lot before I did.
