Ah, okay! Sorry, didn't see this one.
Presenter reoccupies the mic before my sim has a chance to accept. The "Accept Award" option is still there, but is immediately "X'd" out as soon as I select it.

- Try interacting with the presenter or go to build mode and move the mic so he's not interacting with it anymore.
It does X out if the mic is occupied.
I participated in the Starlight Accolades today. Both my sim and her guest were seated, watching the awards and I received the completion notification below:
"For her most recent performance, Bella Goth won the Starlight Accolade for Best Acting! You can find your award in the Sim's Household Inventory."
Alas, when I returned home and went to the Household Inventory, there was nothing present. I hope this helps.
- Did you try accept that part or entirely skip that part ?
This bug is SO AGGRAVATING!!! I waited and went every single Sunday, finally won the award after many attemps, and wasn't able to accept it due to people chatting with me and hogging the microphone. What a letdown.
Just to add: Also, when trying to complete the master actress aspiration, if you received and placed a celebrity tile (which is on the last list to complete the aspiration) before you win an award (which is on the next to last list to complete the aspiration), when you then win the award and it switches to the last list the game does not recognize that you have already placed your tile. So you sit there with an uncompleted aspiration to place a celebrity tile when you have already placed it. Again, another annoyance I can do without.
