[ARCHIVED] [JTB] Arresting Someone (First Order) gets stuck

Same issue with me!

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC - through Origin/EA Play
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? haven't been able to play on my save since it bugged, continually stuck with this bug
What is your current game version number? 1.66.139.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All packs 
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After checking ID's when working for the First Order, when you go to arrest and individual the game gets stuck in arrest mode and doesn't proceed any further with the arrest.

What happens when the bug occurs? 'Starts' the arrest, gets stuck in the arrest 'event', can no longer click through, perform actions or anything - sim will walk around randomly chatting with other sims but you cannot do anything yourself for continuing on with game play. Have restarted the game with the same issue popping up, cannot even try switching to another household member coming back in after a restart.
What do you expect to see? The arrest being followed through with and game play continued as normal
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? None
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Initial launch of Batu game pack

The same thing happened to me! I can't proceed in the principal quest.

Me as well. So frustrating and happened to all 3 sims I have put through the quest line. 

If you wait, like, forever. ( kidding but not really ) It will reset and you can continue on with an arrest being made. 

Just let it run for a while. Its your only option as shift click object reset does nothing regardless of what object your clicking on. 

Can't save or load out. Only other option is to close the game and start your progress over. 

****Edit, this just worked for me. I clicked on the food cart just down a little from the tie fighter and it let me order food/drink,

which got me unstuck. Maybe it will work for others in the same situation*********

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? almost all of them, this is regarding Star Wars
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I did "check ID" on a sim, and it ended in a fight and ans escort to the ship.
What happens when the bug occurs? They are Standing in front of the ship now, not doing anything, but I cant select anything because it tells me that I can't do that because a prisoner is being escorted. I have tried resetting, it took away the icon, but not the issue. AND I can't even save and restart the game becaue you can't save during an escort either.
What do you expect to see? I'd expect the task to finish

I never had this problem until after my sim began escorting other sims to the tie fighter, but now whenever I check the ID of a Sim and they need to be escorted away, the two sims fight my sim wins and than they just stand there...waiting. I sped up the game and they still just stood there for an entire day cycle before I reloaded.

This never happened before when my sim would escort another sim away until after I did the mission that requires my sim to escort other sims to the tie fighter and be taken to the prison planet.

After that it happens all the time.  I'm wondering maybe its because the game is trying to find the tie fighter but can't because im not in the first order section?

Anyway thats the only connection I can think of because again worked fine until that mission was completed.

Got the same problem know I same always before check identities

Same thing happened to me. I got around it by pressing "M" and using that way to travel the map. Once in a new zone, I was able to play as normal. Went back to the First Order District and was able to progress. Had to do this EVERY time I check'd ID though. A bit of a headache but better than quitting without saving and was able to complete the missions.
