Woah, this bug has been here for 3 years and still not fixed? The only Fireleaf plant in the game for me is behind the toilets in Granite Falls National Park and I can't harvest it. It gives me all other options that no other wild harvestable has to water and fertilize it.
Well, not many people seem bothered by it 😉
But then again, this post was made last September. Not sure how that counts as 3 years.
No offense, but this is a rather unhelpful answer. Most likely, people don't want to bother with logging in (you can't log in if you're in IE), and it's only going to be a problem for people with OR. The bug's been around for quite a while, and you can't complete the outdoors enthusiast aspiration because you can't get the fireleaf. It doesn't seem like this should be a hard fix, either - just compare the coding to the nine wild plants that are working correctly.
I can't decided what QA fixes and what not. I'm just saying, the more people are bothered by an issue, the more likely it's getting fixed.
And if people can't be bothered to login to click a button, then it can't be bothering them a lot.
I'm not saying it's not getting fixed but it probably won't have a high priority compared to other issues.
same problem. the only fireleaf is behind the bathroom in the national forest. it's doing everything except giving the option to harvest.. so i cant fullfill the have all plants collection and identify all unidentified plants..
I don't care if not many people seems to have a problem with it. we all have different play styles and i like to collect and do all aspirations. This is a bug what needs to get fixed. take cutting also don't work so I cant get the plant through grafting with another plant..

I had the exact same problem and ran into this thread trying to fix it.
I have great news, I found another fireleaf in the national forest! I am hoping it will be at the same location for everyone else, so I'll do my best to describe it:
1. Go to the front side of the toilet where the busted fireleaf is located
2. Zoom in completely to make sure you can look around from a sim perspective
3. Position your camera in such a way that the toilet is on your left hand side
4. Rotate the camera to the right until you can see a big rock
5. Go towards the rock
6. Look to the right when in front of the rock
7. Between the big rock and the smaller rock a fireleaf can be found!
I hope this plant is there for everyone else as well!
