@bewitching1 Thanks. That seems like a reasonable workaround and hopefully it does work for some people. I'm not sure whats different in my game but that unfortunately, isn't working for me. The timer counts down to 1m remaining, then sticks there, regardless of how far beyond 6:30 the game continues. Clicking the timer continues offering only the "leave early" or "stay late" neither of which do anything, regardless of the time. The cancel job button, in the job pane does nothing either. I'm still testing on a clean Sims 4 folder and I've tried letting the game go a full 24 hours beyond the 630am when the shift should have ended and the state never changes.

I’m playing on a Mac, having the same problem. My workaround: just had my Sim look in a mirror to change her appearance, entered CAS, and exited right away. That seems to have fixed/reset whatever the bug was and allowed her to go home. Looks like she got to keep her gig payout and her confident moodlet. Weird! Hope it works again next time I get stuck in this rabbit hole. :/

I typed too soon. She didn’t get credit for the gig, as if she’d never shown up for work, and now her performance has dropped to “poor.” Ugh!

@iSquirrelBotSame for me. I also tried using a teleport cheat to go home. I was able to get my sim home, but her husband was listed as being home but wasn't actually there. The game did not give my sim credit for her job and she could not book another one

I do wish they would hurry and get this fixed. I bought the pack and can't use it at all!

@iSquirrelBotThat didn't work for me. My sim stayed until noon and still couldn't leave or get credit for the job
