Sounds more like your issue- 5 years ago
Same issue on the PC. Can't get rid of Workaholic lifestyle no matter how much I try.
I first used the reward store thing, it disappeared from the sim info panel but remained as active in the lifestyle window and I was still getting negative moodlets.
Then tried a 'solution' I'd read in another thread to use cheats to re-add the lifestyle and then cheat to remove it but I get the same results with that where it's gone from sim info panel but still marked active in the lifestyle window and still getting negative moodlets.
Third time I tried cheating to add it back in and then used the lifestyle coaching to try and remove it and it still just wont go away.
The weird thing is that I was able to successfully remove Close-Knit via lifestyle coaching on this sim a week or so ago.

Hi,
I had the same bug - Close Knit lifestyle was no longer active, but the moodlet got stuck forever. I fixed it as follows:
1. Add the lifestyle with cheats:
CTRL+SHIFT+C
testingcheats true
traits.equip_trait Trait_Lifestyles_CloseKnit
The moodlet disappeared.
2. Remove the lifestyle:
traits.remove_trait Trait_Lifestyles_CloseKnit
3. Reload the game.
After that, I have no lifestyle and no moodlet 🙂
- 5 years ago@Chaniuk Thank you so much, finally fixed it! I like the lifestyles, but they need to fix this glitch with close knit! I've had it happen twice now!

I've played snowy escape for a while and I really don't like lifestyles altogether. In the beginning my single sim moved from Sulani to Mt. Komerobi and got the travel lifestyle. Then she went skiing for a few days and became an adrenaline junky. This skill actually killed her.
There were constant fires in the house because of the heaters and she would run straight into the fire without trying to put it down, it wasn't even possible to call the fire brigade and there were no other sims to help. After that I went to the life coach first to get rid of the adrenaline lifestyle. It disappeared when I click the little face icon to the right, but when in this tab I click show lifestyles, it was still there. And she was still like where is the fire, let me commit suicide. (I quit the game when she died without saving as I wanted to keep that household and I thought it was just silly.)
After a long while of withdrawal and replacing all heaters and fireplaces with thermostats she craved travelling, a skill that I also removed via coaching and which wasn't gone either. She was so very bored or very unwell that she wouldn't do anything, no gardening, no painting, no nothing. And finally she had that red armchair for days because she was so very unwell because she was locked in the house and not outside and because of a lack of dynamics.
If there ever was a mode to remove lifestyles altogether, I would be the first to install it. Why should we emprison a sim in a certain kind of behavior and have them be so extremely unhappy if something else happens? I don't want a sim to snowboard all their life from morning to night. I play my sims for a long time, time is set to long and sometimes I also stop aging for a while. Anyway. The lifestyles that were supposed to be gone weren't gone until she lost them by withdrawal after quite a long and tedious time ☹️

Hey EA, how about each time you add something annoying to the game, you also add an opt out in the game settings so this garbage doesn't keep bothering your paying customers by the masses!!!! I don't need my sims having issues with obsurd moodlet affects that bug out. Quirks just suck! So does NAP! I don't even like the get famous quirks.
