[OPEN] Time freeze gym lot

Hey!

I had also had this problem and still do not know if it is really gone and live with the fear that it may come back to some lot until now but this is not yet the case.
My solution that this lot no longer used or removed it. :/

With someone ( Click here ) else had this on the residential property.

Confirmed!! This started after the January patch.

Two observations that may increase lag:

- If a weight lifting machine is placed with the side to a wall, Sims will get stuck in the wall after getting up. 

- Put all showers in small separate rooms, also the intransparent ones from Spa Day and Uni. Otherwise an embarrasment tsunami will hit the gym.

Hey, if you're still having this problem, check your lot for a shower from Discover University or Spa Day. I'm not sure if that's the issue, but since I removed those showers from my lots, it hasn't happened.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Potentially checking my current save file.
What happens when the bug occurs? In the Gym lots on Willow Creek & and Oasis Springs, time freezes when on 3x game speed and but the animations continue on a loop. I have to crash the game to get out of it. So far, this doesn't happen on the active household lot.
What do you expect to see? Time working correctly.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes

Testing

Try the following

• Close the game
• Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
• Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
• Copy your save game over from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
• Start the game (all cc you have used will be gone but since you're testing on  backup of your save, you can later revert
• Check if you still have the error
• Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

@crinrict I rolled back to my previous save and the same thing still happens in that. I tried 3x speed on the active household lot but this bug doesn't happen on the active household lot. I tried a vanilla save this morning too with no mods and the bug didn't occur at all. 

However in my current save and the rollback save i have two different stayovers happening, could that be causing an issue with the time? 

In the vanilla save with no mods, the time freeze didn't happen at all. 

The only mod i use is MCCC which i have tested with and with out and using the latest version which is 2023.5.0

Hi @Brd709 . You say you have only the one mod, but do you have a lot of custom content? Also, have you ever played with MCCC's time settings? If so, try setting those to normal. (Or check them just in case you accidentally changed them.) They can cause all sorts of issues.

In my current save with mods after the stayover with Eleanor Sullivan had finished I sent my sim self's teenage son to the gym again and game time continued as normal without freezing. I'll set up another stayover with someone else besides Eleanor and see if the same bug happens again.
