Can I confirm: does changing the anti-aliasing settings help with the issue at all?
Hi! I'm SimmerStar4 (they/them). I'm not an expert on game issues, so don't take me as one! I'm just a Sims player who wants to try and help fellow players, and who finds game bugs and issues interesting. A lot of issues following the Lovestruck patch (23 July) have already been reported. If your issue is described in one of these threads, please report it there:
Some of these issues have had a patch for PC/Mac, and are waiting on a patch for Console.
@SimmerStar4It should not, and I need it, I cant deal with saw tooth edges... it should not have anything to see with color at all... but I am not sure... I may try.
Can you look at those specific objects in your game and confirm if they are like that too for you? That would kind of help to determine, if it is a quality concern or a setting issue...

I'll take a look and see if the objects have this in my game too, yes. I will note in advance that I don't have every DLC, so I can't check everything (eg. the Lovestruck items).

Alright, I've taken a look at some of the fridges in particular, and I can definitely see this pixelation in game. I also have my graphics set to Ultra. I had noticed some of this before but assumed it was intentional - on the fridges, it seems to be almost exclusively on darker objects, so I assume this is some sort of lighting map side-effect from the game (I'm not super well-versed in the ins and outs of the lighting engine and how it interacts with the textures in this game though). I'll check later if changing my lighting settings effects any of these textures in my game.

Hello!
I know this is an old blog, but I’m also experiencing the same issue. I am currently using a reshade and I do have mods installed. I can confirm that removing the reshade and the mods didn’t change anything. The purple pixels still show. I did see that when the game is darker the pixels are less noticeable, which is to be expected. The game is old so perhaps it’s just like that?
