Please do NOT post your Game issues in this thread. Make your own thread or check the compiled list.
This is for questions if you're unsure how the bug forum works or needs some other administrative clarification.
Disclaimer: The following changes have no influence on how EA/Maxis handles and monitors bugs. They only have an influence on the compiled list and how I as a volunteer handle threads going forward. Please continue to report your issues even if they don’t get the same visible handling. Hi Guys
today the AHQ team announced that Answers HQ is moving to EA Forums, This is currently planned for February 2025. Currently there aren't any changes for the bug forum here so please just continue to report your issues here as before.
There is one difference though: I am dropping the [OPEN] tag as per today. I wont' be removing any but I also won't be adding any new ones.
EA Forums currently has it's own bug forum where I've been testing it's functionality the past few weeks. It has it's own tagging system which is much clearer then the one here. The tags here all stem from a time when there was no QA presence at AHQ and was a way of showing popular threads. Much has changed over the years and I feel I'm at a point where I no longer want to do the extra work on something I'm having constant discussions about so I'm dropping OPEN. All other current tags will stay as they show the actual QA status of the thread (except workaround but that's to highlight something).
I will continue to work as I have before except for this change. Please refer to this thread for current info on the bug forum: [INFORMATION] How does this forum work ?

What will happen with the open issues on AHQ when AHQ closes soon? Should we repost the unsolved issues on the new forum, or will the team still work through AHQ? What if we have new insights about a bug that is on AHQ, where do we post it?
Hi @karoschmitzNo need to report the currently open issues again as the current bug reports will all migrate to a section called The Sims 4 Bug Reports - Archive on the new EA Forums.
EA Forums are setup a bit different on the backend for handling bug reports than AHQ is, so we can't merge the AHQ bug reports to the bug reports section that's already live on EA Forums.
This is because the bug report forum on EA Forums is actually an Idea Board and not a forum at all, this allows us to set statuses and provide updates on investigations much easier and without editing thread titles.
This should allow both EA staff and Crinrict to relay information to you all in a clearer and more visible way.
