I am also having this error with a fresh install and a lot from the gallery. It’s the same if I move into apartment lots from the for rent pack specifically too. Even trying to move my sim via the phone still shows a 0$ rent on the bills screen. I’ve no mods installed at all.
I'm also having this issue. I purchased the pack during the September 2024 sale and began a new file with a Sim already in Tomarang. I tried to pay rent but there was no option to do so from the mailbox, phone or computer. Now her power is getting shut off and there's nothing I can do. This essentially renders the pack useless and unplayable.
I've just had a final warning and am about to receive a visit fromt the Repoman.
Can't afford to move out, else I wouldn't be living in a rental apartment in the first place.
Hi! First time using For Rent and this happens ☹️ i am using mods and cc but removed them to test like stated in the previous posts and nothing changed. it's too bad that this is still a problem almost 11 months after release
Same problem. Just bought for rent. Had a warning from the landlord that I haven't paid my rent but there is no pay rent option on the mailbox, the phone or the computer. I have tried everything. The only option is give notice. Playing on Mac & I've never used any mods.
There are posts about this exact issue on reddit from a year ago so it's sad to see they've done nothing to fix the problem. It makes the pack pointless and unplayable. Wish I hadn't wasted my money ☹️
Same issue. Rent is now overdue and I have looked everywhere, mailbox, computer, phone. Nowhere has the Pay Rent option! Hoping I can get a refund on this pack. Totally unplayable.

If EA could bother to fix the bugs when they sell a pack at the price of a full game, that would be really nice of them.
