Re: [ARCHIVED] Furniture is moved to the household inventory on loading

Same issue here: I'm just going to include as much detail on this issue as I can for the bug squashers. This is strangely only happening on a few of my modular items from the pack, not all of them: some parts of a modular item are being moved to the household inventory on entering the lot.

I had used a few of the modular items from the pack to sort of build a shoe rack (I stacked some of the shoes of the pack on those shelves with the drawers), and those got moved to the household inventory upon entering the lot. Here's what the piece of funiture looked like after I put it back:

2 of those drawer shelves under the shoes were missing when my sims entered the lot. Luckily, I checked the household inventory before I went to replace them from the catalog, because there they were. After checking, there were also 2 extra cubbies and storage baskets from the pack added to the household inventory. I thought it might be from some other stuff I built with the modular parts, but nope, upon checking everything: it was excess ones. The items I used for a modular floating tv stand were just fine upon my Sims entering the lot, everything was still perfectly in place there. And so were the items I used for 2 modular closets: everything on those seemed to be okay. It was really only the modular shoe rack that was affected by the bug.

Full disclosure: No cheats were used, no mods were active, and I didn't de-install or re-install any packs. Hope this info helped, and good luck to the team on patching this bug. 🙂
