IT IS JUST SO ANNOYING.... It keeps happening in my game, and it just completely ruins my fun. I love the game but these bugs are driving me crazy

The autonomous flirtiness of the sims now is driving me nuts. I play sims that have monogamous relationships and are stable, loving, and family oriented. Nothing that should trigger these issues. I feel like this issue may have been out there before, but it's so much worse for me since Lovestruck. It's making it very hard to play committed Sims.

Since Lovestruck came out (or perhaps the patch right before it) I have played two households, and half of the second household I'm playing is from the first household (I switched to playing an extended group that included family from the first household). 

Since Lovestruck (or the patch) came out, 4 or 5 times just in playing these two households since I have had a romance bar appear where it makes no sense and is just not right. And once it was between a mom and her adult daughter living in the home with her and her hubby (both of them were married). That disturbed me so much I deleted the daughter and her hubby from my current game save, which removed her from the family and whole story, which was very sad. Another time this occurred with the daughter-in-law and the son she was not married to. Then I had to delete Clement Frost (Father Winter) since my main sim (who is married) also suddenly had a romance bar appear with him (though that is not the relationship they had).

This is not a promiscuous group. And it's just since Lovestruck (or the patch). I love many aspects of the pack, but it's making my gameplay difficult and sometimes quite disturbing.

(Note... I have/had adjusted all of their romance settings to not be conducive to this behavior - to not be attracted to other sims who are 'taken'. etc.) All of this happened my game that had no mods or cc, all packs, fully updated, and on Mac.

Update note 10-17-24... I am still having these i issues. I've had my same group of main sims have romance bars pop up with family members (ie *mother-in-law', a brother-in-law), and I am sure I would have many more if I hadn't started doing (in the last week or so) aggressive edits of anyone entering the lot to adjust their romance and attractions. I finally just day before yesterday, made the butler and ranch hand, since they're there all the time, to also not be attracted to anyone at all (male or female, and have no interest in woohoo, romance types, etc.) Maybe as eunuchs they can behave themselves, and that will at least be one less thing! It's rather miserable trying to track all of this. And don't get me started on how ridiculous the flirting is with roommates, no mater what I do. They are especially flirty with my butlers. I finally had to stop having any roommates, and even deleted my favorite ones from the save so they wouldn't come visit and cause these flirty issues.

Oh gosh my poor Sim.

Her roommates will not leave her alone. They keep serenading her and blowing kisses at her. But it's not in keeping with their Romantic Preferences or Likes. They are all NPCs, interested in men but they are literally chasing my female Sim around the apartment. It's when she's doing homework or reading. She's been upgrading things around the home and they stand over her flirting as she's working. She's Unflirty and I edited them to make them Unflirty too, I also tried Romantically Reserved. They all dislike any form of romantic interactions, but it's not helping at all.

My Sim is tense from the unwanted advances, she gets an Unresolved Conflict moodlet and Smooth Apology is always in her conversation wheel. It's ruined her friendships with them. I asked one of them to move out and it started with the next one and got progressively worse from there.

On top of that she got a phonecall from her Mother's husband asking her out on a date, but they actively dislike each other...and he's very happily married to her mother. She lived with them until she aged up and left home. Which is just all kinds of icky. He said opposites might attract and they should go out for a meal and see if there was any spice, or something like that. 

Edit: 5 Roommates now tested (3 NPCs edited by me and 2 Sims created by me) all Unflirty and not attracted to women, all with Dislikes of any Romantic Interactions/Conversation but all constantly flirting with my Sim and each other. My Sim confronted each one about the public displays of affection and all relationships suffered. I made one of them (created by me) an enemy with a full red line to test but he still persisted despite being an enemy, attracted to men and Unflirty. He also kept flirting with the other Roommate (who was also created by me and is Ace) and she with him, completely against their preferences. This also upset my played Unflirty Sim seeing them getting flirty together in the living room. 

Images attached. Unfortunately it's made Roommates unplayable. My Sim was constantly in a terrible mood and all of the Sims had high friendships with her but all were lost as they literally wouldn't leave her alone.

As the relationships soured she also received several calls from friends warning her about her reputation suffering as she was disliked by someone. I know it is a game but as my Sim was constantly fighting off unwanted advances it felt really unfair for her reputation to keep dropping as a result.
