The latest
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansions: Eco lifestyle, snowy escape, get together, discover university, island living, get famous, get to work, city living, seasons, cats and dogs, cottage living, high school years, growing together, for rent, life and death.

Game packs: jungle adventure, strangerville, outdoor retreat, spa day, dine out, parenthood, realm of magic, vampires, werewolves.

Stuff packs: kids room, paranormal, romantic garden, backyard, vintage glamour, laundry day, tiny living, crystal creations.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look at the mouths of vampire sims in live mode and in the lower left corner. Try editing the teeth of vampire sims to other vampire fangs in cas and see if the change stays when you get out of cas.
What happens when the bug occurs? No matter how much you change their teeth to vampire teeth in cas, they remain as human teeth in live mode.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see vampire sims bearing vampire fangs in live mode and on the lower left corner.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, however I tried removing all of my mods and the issues still persists regardless of mods.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. No this has persisted before the recent patch of 22/10/2024.

Description: I've noticed that none of my vampire sims whether pre-made or made by me bear any vampire fangs in live mode. I've tried to full edit them in cas but to no avail, no amount of cheats seem to work for this glitch. I did notice that other teeth sets work perfectly fine in live mode, just not the vampire ones. The vampire sims all have normal human teeth. I've even tried taking away all my mods to see see if that does it but the issue still persists. Please can anyone help me?

    i am having the same issue. i think it has something to do with the patch/update that introduced the ability to select cause of death in CAS and the customization of the grave stones. (basically within the last 24 hours or so)

    @CoratanniThe gravestones and/or maybe the new cas option to change the occult type of already existing occult sims in cas. It seems like they made the vampire cure and werewolf cure obsolete.

    how can they put an update and the update not fix it

    So that means that we have to wait for ANOTHER update and wait if the next update they will fix this * bug 🤦🏼‍♀️

    A month has passed, the error has not been fixed yet. I'm disappointed.

    When you make a vampire sim in CAS, there is a bug that makes all vampire features like teeth, eyes and skin features disappear once out into live mode.

    This is on the vampire pack. I play on PS5 console. Never used mods. Updated to most recent version.

    How this glitch seems to trigger: 

    Make a vampire sim with pointed teeth. Put game into fulleditcasmode (or sometimes you don't need to, and the bug will just execute anyway), edit anything on the sim, go back into live mode, and your vampire features, including teeth will be gone. Now you will not be able to get those vampire features back, no matter how often you edit the sims features back in.

    What happens when the bug triggers:

     
    Your vampire features, including teeth will be gone. Now you will not be able to get those vampire features back, no matter how often you try to edit your sim to have the vampire features. Some of the vampires in town don't have the vampire features either when the bug occurs. Ruins immersion.
     
    What do I expect to see:
     
    I expect to see the vampire features on my sim that I paid £17 for. I want my sharp teeth that I paid for bro. I was going to buy more packs from EA, but if this one doesn't even work when I paid for it, I won't be buying any more. My friends have also experienced this glitch.
