@LeccaLovesYou Does the event just disappear ? Haven't had any issues with the events.
Where are you having the date/party ? On your home lot ? Dates have known issues depending on the Sims involved but welcome wagon seems rather odd.
@crinrict The event timer disappears and whatever pop up message that would normally follow the event comes up. I have had it happen on and off the home lot. The most recent was a date at the park in DSV. At about 1/3 of the way through the timer the event ended and I scored bronze. I have not had it happen at the two events I've had since. I will update when it occurs again.

An update to this report. I had not followed up as this issue seemed to resolve itself somehow but now it is back. I have gone on two dates this sim week with no problem but now my past two dates have ended before they've even begun. When the lot loads I get a notification that the event (date) has ended and that I've earned Bronze :/ .
I've had this happen too several times and both my Sims were human so it's not an occult thing, I thought it was because a celebrity entered the lot since it did that with service sims such as DJ's and Bar Tenders but when I try again even without celebrity sims showing up it immediately ends
