I've updated the game, as it required, and when I went into build and buy, I noticed a particular item was missing. When I looked into the whole kit, the everyday clutter kit, several items are missing.
I downloaded the full set from the gallery, and when I try to copy an item, it won't do it, so it definitely isn't in my game library as it was before the update.
Is this just my game, or has it happened to anyone else?
@Steffiesquidge Are all items missing from Everyday Clutter, or only a few? Does the EA App think the kit is installed, and does the game think so? In the App, click Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons, and see whether the kit is on the list. In-game, open Build/Buy and try to filter for the kit. If it hasn't loaded, the game will say you don't own it (even if you do).
It says it’s downloaded, but I noticed the size is smaller than the other kits I have. And yeah, only a few items are missing.
I don’t know about other kits or packs, if any other items are missing. I only noticed this one because there’s a particular item I used a lot and it wasn’t there, but it was literally the other day, pre update.
I'm also having this issue. The game thinks the kit is installed. About half of the items for the kit still show. But items like the mug singluar and mugs plural are missing. I'm not sure what all else is missing but I noticed those two items in particular. Only about 7 items show when you filter by the kit and I KNOW there were more items in the kit than that.
@angelicsimmer18 I’ve just repaired my game for a fourth time, and when I went into the game the items are back. I don’t know why, and I don’t know if they’re going to stay. I only looked at the everyday clutter kit, I’m not sure about any of the other missing items.
Interesting.... I will try... By now we can collect those items from the gallery or from our own lots.
The Make-up essentials and subtle serve makeup kit from High School years are missing from buying things in build mode. The items are still present in houses I've already built but they can not be copied with the dropper tool.
It’s been happening with me as well. I’ve done everything I could to get them to come to the game & norhing has worked. I’m very frustrated because they have popped up on my last sims game before the update.
Another bug. I´ve just entered an empty lot to build and I wanted to place an item and it said insufficient funds!!! Funds should not be needed when entering an empty lot to build. The Motherlode cheat doesn't work either!!!
I am also experiencing items missing from purchased packs including every day clutter. Its very frustrating because its not just limited to this pack.
Has anyone figured if/what CAS items are missing/untagged? A list would be great so I know what to look for
No, it appears to only be the small clutter items. They appear in the styled room and also in search. The ones I’ve found are Write it down Notepad, phone & keys, spare specs, trinketville, mug trio, mug solo, write it down memo pad, invisible frame tray, and coinoctogon
I think it's a few. I've tried to look for the spice of life spice rack (round one) and it's not there. I belive that one is base game

I was building when I realized that there were items missing from the Everyday Clutter Kit, A LOT of items, so I asked a friend if she also had this problem and it was the case. We also noticed that other packs like Book Nook kit were missing items, including the base game.
Yes, since the update I'm having the same issue. I went to some of the creators I follow on youtube and many have also mentioned this. It is something that EA needs to fix. We paid for the content, so hopefully they won't fool around too long with a fix!
That's exactly what I said! If they want to update base game items that is just annoying but all the items that we paid for need to be fixed ASAP. I was going to buy the 3 new kits but what is the point if they are just going to break the game and you can't use the stuff???
