I tried your work around (let the Sim that is not working on the aspiration quit the game) and fortunately this made the goal check. Thanks for figuring this out!

I wonder if this bug is related to the upcoming Sabacc tables and may be influenced by installing the Star Wars pack.

EDIT: I Tested darts and it doesn't work properly but it does end. Only my Sim plays though. the game is over without the opponent playing. Might be a different issue and needs it's own thread.

Played a quick chess game - not fixed.

I advise you to download the bug fix from LittleMsSam for this bug, while EA doesn't fix it. I'm using it and now I can normally play chess, darts, cards and dont wake the llama game. I don't know if it's allowed to post the link here so I'll just say to you all to search "littlemssam random bug fixes". The one for these glitched games is called "Playing together fix".

I was having this same issue. Haven't played in a while and I couldn't figure out why the games were never completing and my child wasn't getting credit for games since they wouldn't finish. Quite frustrating since this isn't the only bug I've been running into while playing today. 

The suggested workaround to cleanup the game doesnt really worjk. Not only that, when two sims play it is actually one playing for both.
