- @reagan2016 yikes! it’s nice to know that maybe it isn’t my actual laptop dying on me, hopefully ea addresses this
- @reagan2016 i wonder if the new update caused this, my game was actually working fine the day before
- @jimblejamm I know. I was about to give up until I found out about this community. I think I messed my laptop up trying to find out the issue haha.
- @jimblejamm Apparently so. Mine was fine too.

@jimblejamm The 2 biggest reasons for sudden lag is not enough free space on the system device or background processes running using large amounts of system resources (cpu usage, disk usage, or network usage). Open task manager and see if a process isn't hoggng the system. .
I believe it's the new update. I did it last night and my game was working fine the days before, but after last night my game has been severely lagging. I even got rid of my mods to see if they were causing the problem. Turns out, they weren't.
Me too. I even uninstalled like 3 times. I’ve done everything.
I also believe it's because of the update. Before the update I was playing the Sims and there wasn't any issue, no lagging no freezing. I tried to play the game today and it's still the same 😭 I hope they solve this issue soon!
