@SimGuruIcarus I sent my save last night for another issue; it was the same save as I’ve only been playing that save since installing Seasons. However, I’ve since given my sims the trait where they never freeze, so am wondering if that will have an impact? I can see how far I can roll back using the recover option if that would help (ie at least to before they have the trait). Let me know if you’d like that or if what I’ve already provided is enough (or you’d just like it again relabeled 🙂). Thanks!

We have not been able to reproduce this issue yet, would you also be willing to share you dxdiag and config.log with us?
You can find your config.log file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4

Happened twice to same Sim with the Ice-proof reward trait.
Both times were same scenario. Sim had been indoors several Sim hours. Maxis Sim that joined my household with my playable ghost (death by freezing in another save).
He turned vampire, had baby by alien abduction and took potion to regain humanity. (Whole other weird scenario but yeah...)
They live in a Maxis home in Brindleton Bay with a fireplace for the occasional need to warm self.
No problems until he and teen daughter (alien alien / vampire hybrid ... yes that happened) took the drink to cure vampirism.
First run - both daughter and dad got the warning they were freezing to death. She was near the fireplace and was spared. He was also indoors but in the basement. He died and Grim came blah blah blah.
I did save but then went back to before they were cured. This time they were okay until just now. Both were cured and daughter is living a normal (Alien) teen life. Dad is once again freezing to death! I saved and quit and have the save files if needed.

This may be a temporary fix, but a friend of mine did find a mod that restricts non-active Sims from dying of Cold/Hot; there's two flavors of it at this resource; one where it completely removes the possibility of death, and another where it reduces the chance to 90%.
Note: As this is a mod, I recommend you back up your save files before you install it.

You want the folder within the .zip file provided that is called "Weather NPC Deaths." Only install one of the script mods for the setting you want. (90%, or 100%)
