Re: [FIXED] Sims place dishes in another room, normally on coffee table

@ArthieLefort same (. I've found that it's not a consistent bug though, which may be why it's not fully patched (?). For example, in my most recent vanilla save, one of my sims kept putting her canned goods and deliveries on the coffee table, yet she would put most of her dishes on the counter. She lived in an apartment, so I could only move the table so far.
Another household (same save) doesn't seem to have that issue, although they live in a larger house. :/

@bookmaster325Interesting... Well, I think at this point, after so long, this "bug" has already become a gameplay (unfortunately).

@ArthieLefort I don't think we should accept this just as "part of the experience". Sims take time to route to places, especially in larger homes and it really disrupts gameplay if it takes a sim hour for your sim to walk and place the plate on a coffee table _somewhere_ in the house, even several rooms apart where your sim had their meal. This or they decide to route upstairs to wash the plate in their bathroom.

This is happening to me on Xbox Series X since adding High School Years. My Sims just collect plates and then stop on their way to wash them then place them somewhere random. If there's a coffee table in the kitchen they'll put them there. I often put a couple of coffee tables around a BBQ area so there's a place to set down cooked food but it's like they start to collect plates, see the coffee table and make a bee line for that instead. If there are already empty plates on a coffee table as they are clearing they will ignore those ones.

Sometimes though, they put them on shelves, desks and kitchen slots where you can't see them.

Dirty dishes can go anywhere, especially during student life. Who hasn’t found that one plate and multiple forks or spoons under their bed after detecting that odd aroma? Ohh, just us? Anyway apparently that isn’t where you should put them, and now neither will Sims who used to put them in the most distant parts of the home. Now they should show a bit more home pride and place dirty dishes in appropriate locations.

    Fixed in Patch 1.102.190/1.82
