Re: [FIXED] Small Eyes, Wide Jaw Glitch

This is an upsetting glitch, and a game-breaker for me. I haven't played since I saw it in my game. Here's another visual. I used the same YA Sim to start 2 games, one before the Oct. 1 patch and one after. On the right is my Sim as he aged from YA to A pre-Oct. 1.  On the left is the same Sim in a different game that was started after the Oct. 1 patch and who has aged from YA to A. Notice the differences. It even affected his very distinctive nose, probably from the cheekbones changing.

I'm usually pretty philosophical about bugs, but this one really hurts. In 14 years of Sims there has never been a bug so bad that it has made me abandon the game. I'm playing Dragon Age: Origins now.

I was playing a new Legacy when I noticed that all game-generated female Sims had basically the same face. Then I noticed the males. I have abandoned that save. Right now, I am playing (a different Sim), but not the way I'd like to. I altered EVERY single unplayed Sim by hand. Yes, every single one. However, the games keeps happily generating more and more clones. I'm not letting my Sim have children because I'm afraid of how they will grow up.

My plan as of now is to wait for a fix, then delete every game-generated Sim that my Sims don't know and let the game then generate (hopefully) Sims that do not all look the same. I was so excited for this game. I'm still playing, but I am so disappointed. I kick myself that I didn't save my earliest games. I'd have to put aging on hold, but at least my townies would not all look like identical freaks.
