I deleted the LastException files in my documents folder and restarted my game. I tested multiple saves with no social menus. There were no new Last Exception files created.

    @KAJ3D Would you mind sending me your affected save ? Instructions in my signature

    @dee15644 Merged your post with the current report. To be sure, you're also not using mods/Cc ? Is it all Sims/Saves or you ?

    i tried all the things you suggested and i'm still having the issue. may i send you my save file to check out?

    @crinrict ok thank you. I also discovered that I can't order food or drinks from bars, coffee shops (Get together) and foodstands or the different stands in cottage living and city living. But I'm able to order at restaurants from Dine out (only by clicking on the table not sims)

    Here's what I know:  3 Sims in my household are affected.  One is a Sim I've been playing in multiple saves since 2019.  If I have him selected, I cannot interact with other human Sims.  However, he can interact with his horse and other objects (I can get him to "go here", take showers, cook meals, etc).  But no menu pops up when I click on him or another Sim while he's selected.  If I select a Sim that's not affected by this bug, they can interact with him.

    I tried this without mods, same problem.  Tried repairing the game, deleting localthumbcache and other files that regenerate upon startup to no avail.

    I'm having the same issue. Three in my household are affected...all adults, children are not.  They are not famous, not occult. One was at work in detective career when it started. I've repaired, deleted local thumb cache, mods, and crash files and nothing is working. So frustrating. I've been playing this family for three years.

    I have the same problem, but just for one Sim. The Sim I play most with. All the other Sims in her household are fine.

    @Entropy1026 I have been playing the same sim since 2019 also! Its on multiple saves but in the same world. Random sims seem to be affected but I'm not sure what the affected sims have in common.

    I've already got a couple of old bugs in this save file that I've been dealing with like random sims aging up when I switch households and the interior designer career doesn't work.

    I'm hopeful that they will fix this new issue as it's a game breaking one, but I'm not going to bother with the sims anymore if I have to start over.

    @crinrict I'm having the same problem but, in a full household, it's only the 3 Sims first added to the household that can't interact with other Sims.
    The later added Sims are working normally. I understand these are the same Sims affected by the lack of banners during events/holidays that was fixed on the last update...

    Tried it and yet it’s just working for a limited time and then they can’t interact with each other…
