When going on patrol, I never get past the loading screen so I am not sure. But when traveling to crime scene it generates a different lot/scene each time, so I do not think it's lot related. But I am not sure, sorry I know you asked for my save a month ago! Let me boot up my laptop & see what I can do!

@crinrict I followed your instructions game post #7, I created a Zip file on my desktop. I tried to DM you it and cannot figure it out. I drag the file over, and it does not do anything, Cut-Copy-Paste. Is there a button somewhere to insert or upload a file? I a chose file button below, just tried it and it said "Unsupported extension type." 

Alright thank you. I believe I sent you a copy from before I turned off all stories. Again, I've been at it the past 4 hours. After turning stories off it worked for a little bit, I was able to travel, then began getting error codes. So I started other scenarios. Right now, every morning 30 minutes before Detective career starts I travel to the Oasis Springs park next door, SAVE game, then travel to work, if I save game during my shift then try to travel I receive the error code. So I guess I cannot save during my shift. I have to save before or after. It's working so far. I'll just keep working at it until I can find a usable work-around!

Interesting! Yes in my EA folder there are several different items with that label. I was not sure what they were so I did not delete them. Is it safe to delete all items with that name? Again, thanks for taking the time to help!!

I took a photo of my files. I will try to share it here. I deleted them & loaded my game. Went to work & did not get the chance to leave, because it prompted me to do a whole bunch of work on the computer. At the end of my shift it said +500 to household funds, but would not let Ace leave the lot to go home! Or on patrol or anywhere. At this exact same moment his wife is going into labor. So I switched my control to her. I get an orange Alert that there is a fire in the house, it is an invisible fire in the living room, that I cannot see. Pregnant Sim is freaking out, after it is put out, living room cleaned, I can finally click on Ace's icon & say "bring Ace Here." When I do I get a new notification saying By doing this the current event is interrupted?!? Then Ace returns home, meets his new baby. I check his career panel & it's completely blank. Usually if unemployed  there is a button that says "join a career." I have no idea what's going on with this household. I'm not going to save any of that, I will try to go back to where I left off. Holy moley!!

I Left without saving, cleared everything, deleted all the files that are safe to delete. Went on to origin hit update, repair. Tried it again. Everything is going smooth this time, I tested patrol, and I tested APB to arrest subject. Seems good so far! Thanks for all the help!

Unfortunately I received the error code again. And If I hit the stay late button then the Sim cannot leave the police station at all. So I give up on it. I'm guessing it's because before this character was in the detective career there were 2 others (his parents) that worked there, all within this one saved game. And also some characters around town were auto-filled in as positions there. His lifetime is almost up now, so I'm just going to give up on trying to correct it.

Yes, I gave up on the Detective career. I think it's because I have been in the same save for a long time. I have had different household's join that career over time. 

Like when I first downloaded that pack, I had a female Sim join the science career, went to the lab, and decorated it with jars of space aliens, 6 generations later, I rejoined the same career with her 6 X grandchild. And all her aliens/space rocks/ gadgets were still there & I could not delete them.

So I'm guessing it's my own fault for playing in the same saved game for 30 generations. If I start a new game, I'm assuming it would all reset & start over, but I never have. 

First it was saying error code 0 when trying to save, it ended up being related to neighborhood stories or something I believe? 

Then once in the detective career it was saying error code 102:7b7227ed:5bc3f356

I'm sorry, it's been a few months now & I do not remember. I do remember having errors while trying to travel to or from crime scenes, I could not save at all during my shift, had to save before/after, and if I clicked the 'stay late' button I would be stuck there & could not save or travel home, I had to exit the game.
