[IL] Trash placed under table in Sulani and can't clean up

I'm having this E X A C T issue in 2025 now. I saw a suggestion of grabbing it and moving it, but that just is N O T an option anymore, if it ever was in The Sims 4. I see nobody has been able to fix the issue without mods, either. This is disappointing EA. Fix this glitch so I cam clean Sulani!
