Re: [NEEDS SAVES] [GF] Event with Celeb: Error Code 504:9cd940e:2ddffc2f

Yeah, that's what I thought too! I used to use Avast. But I checked and apparently I have 0 antivirus programs installed at the moment, and only run on Windows Defender... for which I'm not sure how to whitelist The Sims 4. I'll do some more research on that!

@Fierande Check the Ransomware protection. That's usually what's causing it.

Also the LE is for a modded game. Could you delete the LE's you have and re-create the error on an unmodded game to see if it's the same LE ?

  • I'll get to this as soon as I have time! Though the only mod I use is an up to date version of UI Cheats Extension so I highly, highly doubt that mod would be causing this, but I understand you need to be sure.

I tried to reproduce this error on a new save. I created Judith a Fiancée and played 2x the Rehearsal Dinne, once from calendar, once from phone. I could still save the game as save as and overwrite save after a week. I played too a wedding event without problems (I only use Windows Defender, and never had an issue with it) // I have all DLC + Kits

Personally Note; I really think they should blacklist fans and paparazzi if you have a wedding event on a wedding venue. The event was awful as celebrity! I don’t recommend it. I hope you figured out why you can’t save your game. Sorry that I don’t could help.
