Re: [OPEN] [CD] Cats can't use the litter boxes

2/9/24 and this is still an ongoing issue. This has been an issue in every game. Usually resetting the litterbox or cat would fix it; however, this time it didn't. I just started this game. Nothing is blocking the box. Resetting the box and the cat didn't work. Replacing the box with a new one didn't work.

Without fail, every single time I play with cats, they complain about the litterbox, get uncomfortable, then run away for a bit. It's really frustrating that it's been years without a fix.

    @MrsShotgunPanda My Sims just adopted a stray cat in Brindleton Bay. First couple of days it was fine. Cat used the litterbox. Then I noticed the cat REALLY used the litterbox (was in it for a long time). I renovated the house and moved the litterbox outside on a deck. I saw the cat use it so I thought all was good. Then I saw the cat had a "what's wrong?" Interaction under "pet care". Asked cat what was wrong and cat was like I need the litterbox. Nothing was blocking it. The cat just couldn't use it anymore. Bought a new one and it wasn't until I put it in the middle of the room that the cat was able to use it.

    I wonder what causes it to break? Also it sure would be nice if we could ask the cat to use the litterbox like we can call them to eat or lie on the pet bed.
