I'm playing on a rental lot, no mods. I did use the cheat to expand the rental properties so I could have 7 on one lot, using the 64x64 lot in Henford on Bagley and I have two lots that random things just keep catching on fire. I did have two cursed books events on different lots and I've gone through a sim year, if not more since the last. Random objects that have caught on fire that I can remember off the top of my head: Yoga mat, two beds, the selling table that came with home chef hustle (I had no appliances on the table), multiple lamps, a wall?? There may have been a picture on it, not really sure and numerous other items and the lot is not cursed (since I downloaded this lot from the gallery I did check that on all rental properties). One lot has a fire place but nothing near it and the other does not have a fire place. For those two lots, I am now using the fire.toggle_enabled every time I log into the them because each time I will have multiple fires if I don't. This is crazy. The other 5 lots, no issues.
