Robot Vacuum gets permanently stuck in doorway

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Expansions, All Game Packs, No Kits, Stuff Packs: Nifty Knitting, Toddler Stuff, First Pet Stuff, Kids Room, Laundry Stuff, and Perfect Patio Stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy robot vacuum. Click to have it run a cleaning routine. Once it stops in the middle of the floor (mine was in a doorway coming form the outside patio to the inside living room, "why are you vacuuming outside??", I said.) and click to return to dock. It gives the red footsteps bubble over it's head and stays put.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims can walk over the robot but it cannot be moved. Resetting it does nothing. Going into build/buy results in not being able to move it. Deleting the dock does not remove the vacuum from the doorway. removing the door and walls and then clicking the bot does nothing. Cannot delete with cheats.
What do you expect to see? I expect the vacuum to vacuum inside and then return to dock.

Please describe the patch or change you made. After the Bust the Dust Kit free update my vacuums stopped working. I do not own any kits.

I am not sure if it is important, but I have levels in my house (from the Snowy Japanese pack) and the robot vacuum goes over those just fine. I know that these levels cause other issues in my game like sims and pets resetting so I was expecting my vacuum to get stuck on those, but it handled them like a pro. No, it gets stuck in an open doorway (and the doorway never closes.) I am surprised my sims' electricity bill isn't higher, what with letting all that cold air out.
