I have returned to say that things work as expected on my end. I invited over a spellcaster, asked her to duel, and fought her in the middle of my driveway and the aspiration was happy with that. I'm in the newest version of the game.

@Ardnaxela56 Unfortunate I couldn’t test it tonight as the latest patch released today broke my game. I repaired it and can now load a save file but the game lags and skips back in time so severely that it was almost impossible to play 😔 hopefully I have the patients to give it a go tomorrow
