Sim wont do/or stop doing tasks

I have the same problem! The game is impossible to be played! 

I only had this pproblem after I installed the For Rent pack, currently the latest one to be released and right after my sim gave birth to twins and they grew into infants (which happened like 3-4 days into playing with the new pack). 

Searching through the forums I saw that other people had the same problem, connecting the issue to the twin infants. The problem starts when all sims are endlessly trying to put the infants to bed, even when they are already in there, they wake them up, take them out and place them on the floor. Then the cycle continues.  They use the "Check Infant" action non-stop. The only thing that could slow down the appearance of sims' freezing was to isolate the infants in a room and have only one sim take care of them. But it still appeared anyway. Sometime they stopped checking them but whoever interacted with them initiates the bug and everyone stops moving and completing their tasks. 

I think it's the first time after the infant update that my sim gives birth to twins so I'm not sure if the problem is the infants or the latest pack...

My family is placed in a Rental Lot, currently being the landlords.

I have tried everything, repairing the game, deleting some save files, removing one infant with the "remove from household" cheat, aging them into toddlers, removing some stuff packs that people also connected with this problem (i.e. Laundry Day). Nothing works.  

I do not use any mods at all, like ever, so there is no issue with that. 

Has anyone found a solution to this? It's really frustrating, I have been playing this family since 2017 I really don't want to start all over again, it's not what the gameplay is about...

Omg! My sim had twins before but the game crashed and I lost my twins. That’s the day it started happening! She only had 1 baby the next time and I made sure to save it but it was still happening with just the one baby!!!! It must have been because of the twins!!!! Thank u so so much vikyplaysims!!!!!!

Been happening for me since the Infants patch but unplayable since For Rent. 

I have only been able to queue one action at a time per sim and usually have to reset the sim before and after each action - pretty much since March. But now the entire household will freeze up most times a sim is interacting with an infant.  Worthy of note - I started doing the 100 babies challenge just before the infants patch (aka lots of twins)

Adding before old mate merges this with the outdated thread that covers 600 different unrelated issues - the issue is intensified around bathing infants and toddlers.

Additionally cats aren't eating again - and regularly not performing ANYTHING but idle animation until I destroy object and then summon them back to the lot. (can't test the fix without mods but all the above occur without mods)

Route failure error when trying to interract with infants is also back - no amount of 'introduce to' or 'smile at' fixes. 

Absolutely done with this game at this point

Omg that sounds awful!!!!! Have u tried repairing the game?
