Stairs show basements not connects to raised foundations

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.84.171.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? everything (except weddings)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start wit ha house that has a raised foundation and create a basement. Place stairs along wall of basement from ground level going down.
What happens when the bug occurs? the walls of the basement do not connect to the house and stairs expose this.
What do you expect to see? An empty void, similar to previous game issues where stairs had voids when using platforms.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Just about all of them. Newly added Werewolves.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Raise foundation, build basement, install stairs and look at wall from 1 floor to basement. I built on The collective Cabin lot in werewolves.
What happens when the bug occurs? Basement walls do not meet ceiling.
What do you expect to see? Walls that meet ceiling, no wall/ceiling gap where you can see into other rooms of basement from stairs.

Please describe the patch or change you made. added Werewolves.

I have this same problem on my MAC version. The foundation is raised to allow for 5 steps from outside to the porch. Now the basement walls are not meeting the floor above. Also seeing the same glitch on the stairs to basement, though for me it was apparent the walls were weird straight away. No CC/Mods installed. I noticed after installing werewolf pack, not sure if I've ever tried  to build a higher foundation with a basement before.

  • I have this issue as well. The basement starts underneath the foundation, so the walls of the basement do not connect to the rest of the house. Instead there's a grey wall between the house and the basement, and it's not flush with the rest of the walls. It might've been okay if I could put wallpaper on it to hide it somehow, but you can't do anything with it.
